§ 9-8. Construction seaward of mean high-water line exempt.

Structures or construction extending seaward of the mean high-water line which are regulated by F.S. § 161.041, including groins, jetties, moles, breakwaters, seawalls, revetments, beach nourishment and inlet dredging are specifically exempt from the provisions of this chapter. In addition, this chapter does not apply to piers, pipelines or outfalls which are regulated under F.S. § 161.053.
