§ 2.213. Duties and powers.

(a)

The authority shall have all powers conferred by F.S. §§ 159.25-159.53 (the "Act"), to carry out the purposes for which it was created, including but not limited to the power to issue revenue bonds or other debt obligations as set forth in F.S. § 159.47.

(b)

The authority shall annually elect one of its members as chair and one as vice chair and may also appoint a secretary who shall serve at the pleasure of the authority. The secretary shall keep a record of the proceedings of the authority and shall be custodian of all books and records of the authority and of its official seal.

(c)

The authority shall establish rules of procedure regarding the operation of the authority as necessary to accomplish its purposes, subject to the authority of the board. The chair of the authority shall take care to publish public notice of authority meetings, to keep the minutes of meetings and any actions of the authority, and to periodically report its activities to the board.
